You may benefit from therapy if you:

• Feel overwhelmed even though you “should” have life figured out
• Struggle with focus, motivation, or emotional regulation (ADHD)
• Notice patterns in relationships you can't seem to change

• Carry stress trauma that still affects your present life
• Feeling stuck in overthinking, burnout, or emotional overwhelm

  • Have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, or "shutting off" at night

You don’t have to navigate this alone. Therapy can help you understand what’s happening and build a way forward that actually works for you.

Now offering support for insomnia and sleep issues with CBT-I.

Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable adults who feel overwhelmed internally, even if others see them as successful.

I specialize in working with adults and couples navigating:

• ADHD and executive functioning challenges
• Trauma and emotional overwhelm
• Relationship conflict or communication struggles
• Parenting stress

• Sleep issues, including difficulty falling or staying asleep

I offer CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia) to help retrain your sleep, especially if your mind won't shut off at night.

Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and practical, helping you understand your mind while building tools that actually work in real life.

ABOUT LONDON

Choosing a therapist is a personal decision, and it helps to know who you’re working with.

I’m London Mingo, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience supporting adults and couples through ADHD, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, and sleep difficulties.

Before becoming a therapist, I served in the United States Marine Corps and later worked with military families in Okinawa, Japan. These experiences shaped how I understand stress and the impact of carrying things alone for too long.

As a mother of four, I also bring a grounded, real-life perspective to conversations about relationships, parenting, and the day-to-day realities many people are navigating.

My approach is both compassionate and practical. I focus on helping you understand what's happening in your brain and nervous system while building tools that actually work in your life, including structured approaches like CBT-I for sleep when needed.

My goal is simple: to provide a space where you feel understood and supported while creating meaningful, lasting change.

QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING

1. ADHD

Do you work with adults who think they might have ADHD?

Yes. Many of my clients are high-functioning adults who were never formally diagnosed but recognize patterns like overwhelm, procrastination, or difficulty following through.

2. Trauma

Do you work with trauma?
Yes. I use trauma-informed approaches, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), to help you process past experiences and feel more grounded in the present.

3. Insurance

Do you accept insurance?
Yes. I accept select insurance plans and also offer self-pay options. We can go over what works best for you during your consultation.

4. Telehealth

Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. All sessions are conducted through secure telehealth for clients in North Carolina and Florida.

5. What if I don't know where to start?

That’s completely okay. You don’t need to have everything figured out. We’ll use your first session to understand what’s going on and create a plan that feels manageable.

6. How do I get started?

You can schedule a free consultation to see if we’re a good fit. From there, we’ll talk through next steps and get your first session scheduled.
